If an Advisor leaves your firm, an Executive will need to reassign the Advisor’s clients to another Advisor before reaching out to our client support team to deactivate the departed advisor's profile.
A. Assigning a New Advisor
- Log in to your Executive account at flourish.com.
- Navigate to the Clients page.
- Use the Filter on the right side of the page to select the departing Advisor. The client list will update to display only those clients assigned to that Advisor.
- To select all clients, check the box at the top of the column.
- Click the Actions button above the client list and choose Manage Advisors and Teams.
- In the Select Advisor(s) and Team(s) dropdown on the right, select the new Advisor to whom you'd like to assign these clients. Then click Assign to save.
* Note: This action will add the new Advisor but will not remove the original one. To unassign clients from the departing Advisor, proceed to Section B below.
B. Unassigning the Departed Advisor
After assigning the new advisor, you can follow these steps to unassign clients from the previous advisor, if desired:
- From the Clients page, use the Filters to select the departing Advisor.
- Check the box at the top of the household list to select all households.
- Click Actions > Manage Advisors and Teams.
- Select the departed Advisor’s name and click Unassign.
C. Deactivating the Departed Advisor
After completing the above steps, email our team at support@flourish.com, and we will proceed with deactivating the departed Advisor’s account.
