Your bank connection is in a state we call "Update Credentials." This connection state will not impact your ability to create transfers; you can bypass any messaging alerting you of this status when placing a transfer.
The connection can enter the "Update Credentials" state if you have recently changed your bank username or password. Updating your external bank credentials through Flourish will allow you to:
- View the external bank account balance on the Flourish website
- Use SmartBalance, if the account is a checking account
You can update your credentials on the External Accounts page by clicking on "Relink" next to the connection. If you are still having difficulties, you can add the account a second time as follows:
- Log in to flourish.com
- Click on "Manage"
- Click on "External Accounts"
- Click "Add Account"
- Click "+ Link new bank account" and follow the instructions to add the connection again
Once the new connection is added successfully, you can delete the old connection by clicking on it and selecting “Remove this account.” Please note that you will not be able to withdraw funds through this “new” connection for 4 days, due to a security precaution. As such, you may not want to remove the old connection for 4 days.
