The $0.01 verification deposit typically takes just 1 business day to arrive in your external bank account. If it has not shown up in your account after 2 business days, you can re-initiate the process of linking your external account to send a new $0.01 verification deposit. Alternatively, you can contact our client support team for assistance.
There are a few common reasons why the $0.01 verification deposit may have failed to arrive in your external bank account after a few business days:
1. More time may be needed. Depending on your bank’s processing timeline, it may take an additional 1-2 days for the verification deposit to arrive.
2. You may have mistyped your bank account number or routing number or may have selected the wrong account type. In this case, you will need to add your bank again to restart the process.
3. Your bank account may not accept deposits through the “ACH” system, or may not have processed the $0.01 verification deposit for another reason. In this case, you may wish to reach out to your bank to ask if they have any record of the $0.01 verification deposit and to confirm whether the account in question can accept ACH transfers.
