Although we’ll be sad to see you go, you can close your account at any time. In order to close your account, please follow the steps below:
- Log in to flourish.com
- Click on “Manage” next to the account you wish to close
- Click on “Account Details” towards the top of the page
- Scroll down until you see the “Initiate account closure” section
- Click on “Initiate” and follow the instructions provided
Once you begin closing your account, we’ll transfer your entire Flourish Cash balance to one of your external bank accounts. In the event that you have accrued interest that has not yet been posted to your account, your account will then be frozen until the accrued interest is transferred to your bank account after it has been posted to your account in the first few business days of the following month.
Once you have initiated the account closing process, you can immediately open a new account at any time if you choose. You can learn more about that process here. After you’ve closed your account, you will still be able to log in to your account to access statements and tax documents.
