Flourish SmartBalance runs every two weeks. If you enabled SmartBalance for an external checking account, funds will be transferred into or out of your bank account only if the balance falls outside your Target Balance Range, which you can set on the “Activity” page of your account. Flourish SmartBalance runs every other week and always follows the same timeline:
Wednesday
- SmartBalance checks the balance of your external bank account and calculates the necessary deposit or withdrawal amount. Please note that, on occasion, the balance we receive may be a day or two out of date.
- If SmartBalance is set to run, we automatically email all clients with the details of the transfer, giving you at least 24 hours’ notice to edit or cancel the transfer if needed.
Thursday
- The transfer is officially locked and submitted at 5:30pm EST. Clients will not be able to edit the transfer after this time.
Friday
- The transfer settles, as funds are either posted to your Flourish Cash account or withdrawn to your external bank account on Friday.
