We do not offer overdraft protection. Because the balances for external accounts may not be updated in real-time, both manual and automatic transfers could potentially cause you to overdraw from your external account.
Before processing any transfer to or from your external bank, we will send you an email with the details. For SmartBalance transfers, you’ll have up to 30 hours to edit or cancel the transfer, which you can use to ensure you do not trigger an overdraft in your external account. Please note that Flourish Cash does not assess any overdraft fees. If you attempt to withdraw more money than you have in your Flourish Cash account, the transfer will not go through, which we’ll let you know via email or notification.
